History has saved
many names among its fold. Including good and evil. Therefore, People still
remembering them right now. Recently, I started to read about a character that
contributes in human rights in U.S. The featured of him is that he was a
criminal before he changed his gears to be an activist like his father who
killed because of his job. Absolutely, if I had a choice to have a dinner with
a celebrity, I would prefer to have it with Malcolm X.
Born on May 19,
1925, in Omaha, Nebraska. Malcolm X was a Black Nationalist leader who
graduated junior high at the top of his class. After that he lost his interest
in school after his favorite teacher told him that he would not be a lawyer
because being a lawyer at that time was "no realistic goal for a
nigger" By then, he was going the wrong way till he had arrested and
convicted on burglary charges, and he was sentenced to 10 years in prison. In
prison, Malcolm started his bloodless revolution. This revolution had changed
whole America. Until this morning, schools still teaching students his
personality and his accomplishments for humanity.
I still reading
his autobiography; and I have a lot of questions to ask him about. For
example, I want to ask him about the factors that lead him to
be a spokesman for the Nation of Islam during the 1950s and
'60. Also, I want to know why he chose to be an activist rather than
continuing his life in nightclubs. This man raises many question, he has a
mystery life. For these reasons, I am keen to know more about him. Finally,
“One of life's first needs is for us to be realistic."(1) Before
I write this essay, I know that my dream to meet Malcolm is not realistic!

A surprising choice! Very interesting. Yes, Malcolm X was a very interesting figure. I haven't read his autobiography, but I have seen the movie about him and that was very well done. Cool post!
